Festival Donations

REGISTRATION OPENS MAY 1ST

For the past several years, The Atlanta Pride Committee has dedicated itself to creating outlets for nonprofit groups to raise funds for their organizations. Through various reinvestment opportunities, The Atlanta Pride Committee has been able to put over $100,000 back into the community. Our most popular initiative to date is the Festival Donations Program.

The Atlanta Pride Committee partners with other nonprofit organizations to help them fundraise during the Pride Festival. Nonprofit groups recruit volunteers to act as official donations collectors throughout the festival grounds and on the parade route. Atlanta Pride retains 50% of the funds collected, while the other 50% goes back to the organization collecting.

Steps to Participate:

1.  Complete the Festival Donations Application for your organization. REGISTRATION OPENS MAY 1ST

2.  Begin recruiting members of your organization to collect donations for a minimum of 2 hours during Pride weekend.

3.  You will be contacted by the Festival Donations Coordinator and scheduled for collection times.

4.  Notify your volunteers about when and where they should show up to collect during Pride.

5.  Volunteers MUST work in groups of 2 per collection bucket, no one can collect alone.

6.  Show up at the sign in location with your group at your assigned time, collect for the duration of your shift, and return your buckets and donations to the sign in location.

7.  After the festival is complete (no more than 30 days), your organization will receive a check for 50% of the funds your group collected.

Remember, more buckets = more donations = a bigger check for your organization!
