DESCRIPTION:Athens Pride and Queer Collective is thrilled to announce that this year our annual festival and parade are going to be combined into one large\, monumental event\, creating PrideFest 2026: From Athens\, With Pride! The festival will be open to the public at 3:00 PM and is free of charge. Here\, patrons can access local queer and affirming resources\, purchase items from various supportive vendors\, and grab drinks from some of our favorite bars and restaurants! The parade will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We’ll have vendor tents\, food trucks\, a kid’s zone (3:00-8:00 PM)\, and entertainment until 10:00 PM!

VIPs and sponsors are invited for a special social hour at 6 PM. \nOn Saturday\, June 26th the Pride Festival at Ridge Ferry Park begins at 12 PM and is free to attend! Enjoy over 150 curated vendors\, food trucks\, live entertainment\, and our headliner TBA. Don’t miss the Sizzling Divas Cabaret at 7 PM that evening. That morning at 11 AM\, join us for the March for Rights on Broad Street in Downtown Rome. \nThroughout the weekend\, explore local art\, live music\, drag performances\, shopping\, educational events\, our Health Village\, and more. \nWrap up the weekend on Sunday\, June 27th with our Pride Sunday Church Service at Rome First UMC at 10 AM. \nRome Pride is the largest rural LGBTQ+ Pride event in Northwest Georgia\, drawing over 5\,000 attendees in 2024 and 2025.
