Atlanta Pride joins our community in mourning the loss of activist and historian, Dave Hayward.
Co-founder of Touching Up Our Roots and board emeritus of the Georgia LGBTQ History Project, Dave held a wealth of knowledge on our collective queer history, and was always willing to share a story. Dave served as a 2016 Atlanta Pride Grand Marshal. He will be deeply missed by many in our community, and he will not be forgotten.
