Pride Across the Peach State Grantees

2025 Grant Recipients Announced

Atlanta Pride, the largest free Pride festival in the United States, is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 “Pride Across the Peach State” grant cycle, which supports LGBTQ+ organizations and events throughout Georgia. Since launching in 2024, this initiative has successfully funded and supported festivals and events for LGBTQ+ communities and their allies in Georgia to connect, celebrate diversity, build resilience, and promote inclusion.

Atlanta Pride’s philanthropic initiative, “Pride Across the Peach State,” will continue its focus on uplifting, supporting, and amplifying the efforts of Georgia-based Pride organizations. The grant’s inaugural year made a significant impact, engaging over 37,000 attendees across diverse events and expanding LGBTQ+ visibility in both urban and rural areas. In 2025, “Pride Across the Peach State” received 20% more requests than in 2024.

Atlanta, GA

Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP) was born out of a lack of space for Black and brown queer folks to build community, a lack of queer art, and in opposition of the established narrative of Southern queers. The South is home to the country’s largest population of LGBTQIQAP2+ individuals, yet we’re confined to a narrative of stigma, statistics, and struggle. SFQP fights that notion, and is aiding in uplifting an honest narrative of resilience, rich history, and vibrance. The 2025 Southern Fried Queer Pride Festival will be held on June 23-29.

Statesboro, GA

Boro Pride is a non-profit organization that was established in 2019 and is focused on community building. We strive to advocate for the visibility, inclusion, celebration, equality, and safety of LGBTQIAP+ people in Statesboro-Bulloch County, Georgia, and the surrounding areas. The 2025 Boro Pride Festival will be held on October 4.
