Every Grand Marshal has helped shape the story of Atlanta Pride. Now, we’re working to make sure those stories are preserved for generations to come.
This summer, Atlanta Pride is proud to welcome Phoenix (They/She), our History & Legacy Intern, who is leading an exciting project to build a living database of every Atlanta Pride Grand Marshal, past, present, and future. The goal is to create a more complete historical record that celebrates the people who have helped lead, inspire, and strengthen our community throughout the years.
To make this project as accurate and meaningful as possible, we need your help.
If you have ever served as an Atlanta Pride Grand Marshal, or know someone who has, we invite you to submit their information via our community form. Whether you can provide contact information, biographical details, photos, memories, or simply help us reconnect with someone we’ve lost touch with, every contribution helps preserve our shared history.
This project is about more than creating a database. It’s about honoring the people whose advocacy, leadership, creativity, and service have helped make Atlanta Pride what it is today while ensuring future generations can learn from and celebrate their contributions.
