Drag Me to Church: An Interfaith Commemoration of Stonewall
Hosted by St. Luke Lutheran Church & The Atlanta Pride Committee
Join us on Sunday, June 14th for a worship experience like no other, where sacred tradition meets queer joy, and drag becomes a vessel for truth, beauty, and belonging.
Drag Me to Church is a family-friendly, interfaith worship service that honors the legacy of the Stonewall Uprising and celebrates the full belovedness of LGBTQ+ people in the life of faith. Together with local clergy, musicians, drag performers, and community leaders, we’ll lift up a message of hope, justice, and radical welcome.
What to Expect:
- Inspiring drag performances that speak to the power of identity, resistance, and sacred storytelling
- A multi-faith liturgy rooted in love, healing, and the Gospel’s call to inclusion
- Drag Story Time for kids and grown-ups alike
- A space where faith and queerness aren’t in conflict—they’re in celebration
- A community gathered to remember, rejoice, and recommit to justice
This service is open to all, but registration is required.
Whether you’re deeply rooted in a faith tradition, exploring spirituality, or just looking for a place where all of who you are is welcome, come as you are. Wear your glitter or your Sunday best. There’s room for you here.
Let’s honor the past, embody joy in the present, and shape a future where every child of God is seen, named, and celebrated.
Ample free parking is available on-site, and the sanctuary is fully ADA accessible.
